Reynard is a Singaporean-born cinematographer and current ASC Vision Mentee, as well as a Master’s student at the London Film School. He crafts intimate, emotionally resonant stories that cross cultural boundaries, blending a precise command of light and space with an intuitive sense of rhythm to create images that invite audiences to discover emotion organically. His artistic development has been shaped through internationally recognized programs, including the ASC Cinematography Masterclass in Los Angeles, a film workshop residency at Terre di Cinema in Italy, and a merit-based scholarship to the Cinematography Intensive at Maine Media College in the United States.
With experience across Asia, the United Kingdom and the United States, Reynard thrives in small-unit, location-based productions and adapts seamlessly to diverse creative environments. He brings a calm, grounded presence to set and is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with directors to serve each story with honesty, subtlety, and empathy.
His films have been showcased at film festivals and platforms like Apple TV+, Film Shortage, Beyond The Short, Viddsee, the Singapore International Film Festival, Seoul Women’s International Film Festival, Minikino Film Week, Montreal Independent Film Festival, Indie X Film Festival, TorontoMet Film Festival.
