Reynard is a New York–based Singaporean cinematographer crafting intimate, emotionally resonant stories that cross cultural boundaries. His work blends a precise command of light and space with an intuitive sense of rhythm, creating images that allow audiences to discover emotion organically.

With a career spanning Asia, Europe, and the United States, Reynard thrives in small-unit, location-based productions and adapts seamlessly to diverse creative environments. He is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with directors to serve each story with honesty, subtlety, and empathy. Passionate about exploring the complexities of human relationships, Reynard brings a calm, grounded presence to set and a meticulous, heartfelt eye to the screen.

His films have been showcased at major festivals and platforms worldwide, including Apple TV, the Singapore International Film Festival, Seoul Women’s International Film Festival, Cindependent Film Festival, TorontoMet Film Festival, North Hollywood CineFest, and Minikino Film Week – Bali International Short Film Festival.

A graduate of Temasek Polytechnic’s film program in Singapore, Reynard has further refined his craft through prestigious opportunities such as the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Cinematography Masterclass, a cinematography residency at Terre Di Cinema (Italy’s National Film School, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia), and a scholarship for the Cinematography Intensive at Maine Media College.
